Best 3 Wheel Pushchairs
All-terrain pushchair that offers light weight and excellent maneuverability. Its compact one-hand fold means it's easy to move and is freestanding when folded. The cushioned seat reclines to a nearly flat position and there's a giant storage bin and canopy. The suitability for newborns is yes and with a carrycot.
A good suspension with air-filled tires will help you navigate through rough terrain. It's also suitable for jogging, although you should wait until your baby is at least six or nine months old to do this.
Ickle Bubba Air
This lightweight pushchair from Ickle Bubba is packed with lots of features that parents will love. The travel system includes a carrycot that is flat for babies and an adjustable rear and forward facing pushchair seat.
The XL Air is a really impressive vehicle and it's easy to understand why it has received such high praise from customers. It's extremely light - the chassis and wheels weigh just 6.5kg and it's easy to build. I was able to get it up and running in under five minutes - which is remarkable considering it also includes attaching fabric for the carrycot.
The seat is wide and comfortable for Annie, who is 12 months old. The recline lever was simple to operate. There's 3 wheeler pushchair of room in the basket too, and I love the fact that it comes with a zip-up pocket in the handle bar so you can keep your keys and phone safe!
The only issue is that the handlebar is quite low, which could be an issue for taller parents. It's covered with soft, supple leather-like material, which is easy to clean.
Hauck Pushchair Runner
The Runner is designed for athletic parents who are eager to go out and explore. The large pneumatic wheels are designed to be used on forest and field trails and the front wheel can be swivelled and locked to give you more flexibility. It also has a padded 5-point safety harness and front bar to keep your little one secure on all journeys, while the parking brake is able to stop the stroller from moving while you take a break. The seat can be repositioned to lay down and the canopy can be opened for maximum air circulation during hot days. The handle can be adjusted by more than 30cm, to fit mom or dad.
The Runner will accompany you on all your adventures, whether it's a quick jog, a longer hike, or a long-distance walk. It features a completely flat lay-flat seat that has suspension air wheels that provide an easy ride. The front wheel can be locked for greater stability when walking on narrow streets or busy sidewalks. The stroller can also be folded in order to fit into car boot spaces or storage areas.
The Runner 2 is a bit more difficult to navigate for some parents than its predecessor. Also the locking system (requiring two buttons on either on either side of the handlebar) isn't as user-friendly. The handlebar is a little higher than the ones of competitors', so it might not be suitable for parents with shorter arms but overall, it's a sturdy and versatile stroller worth a look for families with active children.
Red Kite Push Me Pace
The Pace is a different great product from Red Kite, an affordable British brand that is known for its simple and well-designed essentials for parents. It's their newest and most expensive addition to their stroller line that is a bargain and lightweight. Similar to the Ickle Bubba Aurora or Yoyo, it is car seat-compatible, so it can be used from birth.
The new Pace has some fantastic design elements, including rose-gold hues on the hood, chassis, and stroller trims that truly make it stand out. The cream, grey, and tan fabrics on the stroller and the car seat are super elegant and there is an option to add the handle for the cover and bumper bar too.
It's suitable for babies up to a max weight of 22kg. The stroller seat can easily be converted from the carrycot to the 2-in-1 reversible mode. It can be parent or world-facing. The stroller seat offers multiple lie-back positions, comfortable padded leg rests and an extended sun canopy that has hidden zip sections, a see through flap and an retractable sun visor.
When folded when folded, the Pace measures 56 x 43cm x 32cm, which is perfect for hand luggage on Easyjet and Ryanair. It's also easy to fold, thanks to two buttons on either side of the handlebar which just click in and then pop out.
Bugaboo Fox 5,
Designed to be the ultimate all-terrain pushchair, Bugaboo's new Fox 5 promises to do it all. Its unique chassis, with a shorter wheel-distance, makes it much more agile than its predecessor. I tested it with my two kids one of whom is eight weeks old and the other toddler - on rocky pavements as well as grassy wooded paths and even cobblestones.
The large puncture-proof wheels, which measure either 22cm or a bit larger they can be used on different terrains. The wheels have an opening that can be shut or opened to let more air in when needed. It's a bit bigger than some pushchairs, but it does not feel heavy or bulky when pushing it across bumpy surfaces.
The fabric for the seat is machine washable and the faux leather frames and grips are easy to clean. It is also quieter than other pushchairs and I felt comfortable in the urban streets. It has built-in accessory points that allow you to attach parasols and footmuffs along with changing bags or snack trays, and even snack trays. You can also use the hood to block wind and rain, although it's not waterproof. The single pram is able to be fitted with the Comfort Wheeled board (not included) that gives your child more leg room. The bassinet took 20 minutes to set-up and the same amount of time to transform it into a seat.

The reversible handlebar is a wonderful feature that lets you adjust it to suit your height. And unlike other strollers that jog, the Ridge's fold is solid and self-standing when folded.
